Summer 2003:

I have paired up a BH(black headed)/PB (purple Breasted)/BB (Blue Backed) cock and a BH/PB/NB (Normal Backed) split to blue female. This is their first breeding season. So far I have 4 fledglings - of those I believe 2 will be blue backed and 2 will be normal backed split to blue. Currently they are sitting on 5 eggs.

I have just set up a BH/PB/NB cock to a RH (red head)/PB/NB hen. This will be there first season as well. I'm interested to see the outcome of their babies because they both might be split to WB (white breast) and the genetic history of the hen is unknown.
