The Society Finch as a foster parent?
I am currently breeding both normal and crested society finches. With Gouldian finches, the Society finch is often used to foster the Gouldian finches eggs. Whenever possibly, you should use the Gouldian parents to raise their own chicks. But when circumstances arise and the Gouldians do not for some reason tend to their eggs or chicks, the Society finch is invaluable to you.
